The product is received at the terminal from the refinery mainly through Pipelines. The product is then stored in Storage Tanks and delivered to the Retail outlets, which supplies the end products directly to the customers.
The main products stored in a terminal are Motor Spirit (MS), High Speed Diesel (HSD), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF). The terminals use technology services to optimize the process flow and are known as Smart Terminals. Most of the terminals of IOCL are “SMART”.
